About Asian Cuisine Recipes

We help home cooks make the dishes they love from across Asia, with clear instructions, accessible ingredients, and respect for the traditions behind every recipe.

Our story

Asian Cuisine Recipes started with a simple goal: to make the dishes we love from across Asia easy to cook in an ordinary home kitchen. Asian cooking can feel intimidating, with unfamiliar ingredients and techniques. We believe it doesn’t have to be.

Whether you’re craving Korean bulgogi, a fragrant Thai green curry, or a pot of Indian butter chicken, our recipes walk you through each step so you can cook with confidence.

What you’ll find here

  • Recipes from across Asia, including Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Indian, Vietnamese, and Filipino cooking.
  • Clear, numbered steps with the tips that make the difference, such as how long to soak rice noodles or when to add miso.
  • US and metric measurements in every recipe card, with adjustable servings.
  • Ingredient guidance: what each ingredient does, where to find it, and what to use if you can’t.
  • Estimated nutrition per serving and printable recipe cards designed to be easy to follow in the kitchen.

Our approach to recipes

We aim to write recipes that work in ordinary home kitchens. That means realistic prep and cooking times, clear notes on substitutions, and honest guidance about where a shortcut changes the result. Many dishes have countless regional and family variations. When we adapt a recipe, we say so and explain why.

We also care about food safety and allergies. Asian cooking frequently uses soy, sesame, peanuts, shellfish, fish sauce, and wheat, so we call out common allergens and suggest alternatives where we can. Please read our disclaimer for more information.

How we keep recipes accurate

  • Every recipe lists exact quantities in both US and metric units.
  • Food-safety temperatures follow widely published guidance, such as 165°F (74°C) for chicken.
  • Nutrition is estimated from each recipe’s own ingredient quantities using USDA FoodData Central values.
  • If something doesn’t work for you, tell us through the contact form and we’ll review and correct the recipe.
